1. USE - Permission is for one-time use only, as described on this form, with no other rights. Subsequent re-usage of these images in the future (i.e. editions of a publication are created) requires the permission of the Osgoode Township Museum. The user may not give permission to others to reproduce or copy this image in any way. The Osgoode Township Museum does not surrender its own right to publish the image(s) or grant permission for others to do so.
2. REPRODUCTION - Unless otherwise agreed upon, only photographic materials provided by the Osgoode Township Museum may be used for reproduction. Images may not be altered without prior authorization, including but not limited to, bleeding, cropping, superimposing etc. Detail shots must be approved in advance and the word "detail" must appear in the credit line. The Osgoode Township Museum reserves the right to approve in proof the use of the image(s) as described on this form.
3. IMAGE CREDITS - All reproductions must be credited to the Osgoode Township Museum. Image credits, as provided by the Osgoode Township Museum, should appear in close proximity to the image or in a special section devoted to credits. The credit must include maker's name, object title, object date, credit line and photographer credit, if applicable. Crediting of each individual item is mandatory in all cases. 4. COPY OF PUBLICATION - The Osgoode Township Museum shall receive one complimentary copy of each publication in which the image appears.
5. COPYRIGHT - The user assumes all responsibility for possible copyright infringement and invasion of privacy arising from use of reproductions and agrees to cover any costs arising from this situation.
Where the Osgoode Township Museum does not own copyright of the images requested or of the object represented in the image, it is the user's responsibility to contact the appropriate person for permission.
6. EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions or additions to the above conditions will appear on and be considered part of the License Agreement. If the image request is approved, the applicant agrees to the conditions listed above.
