Curious about the Victorians' particular rituals and culture around mourning? Love classics by Poe, Shelley and Stoker? Then you won't want to miss this 'to die for' tea, the last of the 2025 season at OTM! The tea service will include a pot of tea with hot water refills, 'Funeral Cookies' and themed Memento Mori sweets. During the tea, enjoy an informative talk by museum staff about Victorian mourning practices, with special attention paid to local history and artifacts from the collection. 

Given the subject matter this tea is a 16+ event. Topics covered include death, grief, gothic horror, mourning practices, material culture, the Winchester Axe Murder of 1879, grave symbols, 19th century history
