August's Discovery Day takes you through a very important daily task - Butter making! Learn how butter is made, try your hand at making butter with our reproduction 1920s churn, then visit the garden to harvest herbs to make a flavoured butter to take home.

Details:

• Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the activity
• The cost is $5 per participant. 
• There are no refunds for no shows or cancellations. Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled by the museum.
• Some activities are self guided throughout the museum and property, and may have both indoor and outdoor portions (weather permitting)
• Activities are available from 10:00am to 4:00pm
