Third Annual OTM Pumpkin Smash

Bring your Halloween pumpkins to the Osgoode Township Museum for a smashing good time! Smash your pumpkins and enjoy some museum-made treats for sale. Pumpkin pieces will become compost for OTM’s heritage garden.

Advisory You must provide your own pumpkin and tool to smash your pumpkin with. Close toed shoes and eye protection highly recommended. 

Participants are required to provide their own pumpkin as well as a tool to smash your pumpkin with. Close toed shoes and eye protection (sunglasses, glasses, safety goggles) are required. See guidelines below.

Permitted Tools: Blunt Items, Rocks, Shovel, Hammer, Mallet

Restricted Items: Blades or Sharp Objects, Firearms, Chainsaws and Weedwhackers

Pumpkin Guidelines to Reduce Contaminants NO: Candles,Yarn, Stickers, Googly Eyes, Plastic Components, Non-biodegradable materials

A safety waiver will be available to sign on the day of the event.
