Arctic, Arsenic and Artifacts: In the Footsteps of Greely

Join us April 23, 2020 at 7pm for another virtual Museum Talk!

Our local community of Greely was very likely named in honour of the American explorer Adolphus Greely. He was the leader of a disastrous Arctic expedition in the years 1881 to 1884. In this talk, David and Sally Gray will share their experiences of many of the places that Greely and his men explored in the High Arctic, especially on Ellesmere Island. They will share photographs of places visited by Greely and his men, and also of artifacts from the expedition.
