Museum Talks: Abandoned Graves, The Forgotten Cemeteries of the Former Osgoode Township

Elias is a Heritage Specialist at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum and a guide at the Haunted Walk. They spend as much time in local cemeteries as they can. Elias has also worked at Osgoode Township Museum as a summer student and intern. While researching local cemeteries during their internship, they uncovered information about 5 abandoned cemeteries in the former Osgoode Township. This information was spread across the museum's collection, archives, online, publications and in active cemeteries. Elias compiled all the information they could find into a booklet for the museum. Join Elias and OTM on November 19th to learn more about the cemeteries gone, but not forgotten.
